Cookie Policy
This policy explains which cookies anyqora.com uses, what each one does and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes all the personal data we process.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember a choice you made, keep you secure or measure how pages are used. Similar techniques, such as local storage, do a comparable job, and we treat them the same way in this policy.
The two categories we use
We keep things simple. Every cookie on this site falls into one of two categories:
- Necessary — required for the site to work securely and to remember your consent choice. These are set regardless of your preference because the site cannot function properly without them.
- Analytics — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These are set only after you click Accept in the consent banner.
Necessary cookies
Two kinds of necessary cookies may be set:
- aq_consent — set by Anyqora when you make a choice in the consent banner. It records whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies so we do not ask you again on every page. It lasts 12 months.
- cf_* cookies (for example __cf_bm and cf_clearance) — set by Cloudflare, which protects and serves the site. They distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic, support the Turnstile check on the contact form and keep the site available under attack. They are short-lived security cookies and contain no personal information that we can read.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies are set only if you accept. If you reject, or make no choice, none of them are set and the site works exactly the same.
- _ga and _ga_* — set by Google Analytics 4, which we load through Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode v2. They give each browser a random identifier so that repeat visits and sessions can be counted. They tell us which pages are read, how long visitors stay, where traffic comes from and how often the contact form is completed. They last 2 years.
- _clck and _clsk — set by Microsoft Clarity. _clck stores a random visitor identifier for 1 year; _clsk links the page views within one visit and expires after 1 day. Clarity produces heatmaps and session recordings so we can see how pages are used. All form inputs and sensitive elements are masked, so anything you type never appears in a recording.
All cookies at a glance
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
aq_consent | Anyqora | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. Necessary. | 12 months |
cf_* (for example __cf_bm, cf_clearance) | Cloudflare | Security, bot protection and Turnstile verification on the contact form. Necessary. | Session, up to 30 minutes |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors and sessions for aggregated usage statistics. Analytics, set only after you accept. | 2 years |
_clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Visitor identifier (_clck) and session link (_clsk) for heatmaps and recordings with form inputs masked. Analytics, set only after you accept. | _clck 1 year; _clsk 1 day |
Measurement without cookies
Two tools help us without setting any cookies, so they do not need your consent:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every visit and gives us aggregated figures: page views, countries, devices, browsers and referrers. It does not identify individual visitors and uses no cookies or fingerprinting.
- Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools show which search queries lead people to the site. They work through a verification tag in the page, load no script and collect nothing from your browser.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Accept and Reject are equally easy to choose, and there is no penalty for rejecting: every page, the technology directory and the contact form behave identically either way. Reject means only Cloudflare's necessary cookies and cookieless analytics are used; Accept adds Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block or delete the aq_consent cookie, the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Change your choice
To change your choice, select "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. The consent banner reopens and you can choose Accept or Reject again. Your new choice is saved in the aq_consent cookie for 12 months and takes effect immediately; after you reject, no further data is sent to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we add, remove or change a cookie. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
